Bloodrunners is the latest film to come out by Director Dan Lantz and was written by Michael McFadden from SpeakEasy Pictures. The film features McFadden, Ice-T, Chris Boylan, Airen DeLaMater, Peter Patrikios, Julie Ek, Kelly Buterbaugh, Dan Doherty, Tammy Jean, and Tina Marie Connel and tells us the story of a corrupt cop who is on a mission to rid his town of the crew of vampires who are running the local speakeasy during the prohibition era.
Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland is a 2016 American comedy film that is based on Spike TV’s television show that operated under the same name. Directed by Lev L. Spiro, the film features Darin Brooks, Alan Ritchson and Chris Romano. In March 2013, Ed Marinaro stated in an interview with Class Act Sports that he was working on a film and continued to hint on Twitter at some behind-the-scenes work being done. In early March 2014, Page Kennedy had started hinting at a Blue Mountain State” reunion project on various social media platforms along with Darin Brooks, Kelly Kruger, Alan Ritchson, Sam Jones III, Frankie Shaw and Romanski. Then on April 8, 2014, the film was officially announced, followed by a Kickstarter campaign shortly thereafter, following in the same footsteps as the hugely successful 2013 campaign for the Veronica Mars movie. The goal was to raise $1.5 million by May 15 to fund the film. There were several rewards for donating to the campaign, such as personalized tweets from the cast members (for donating $10), shot and pint glasses with the BMS logo (for donating $20), and a speaking role in the film (for donating $10,000). At the end of the campaign, the final funds raised were upwards of $1.9 million from approximately 23,999 backers.
